For more than 20 years, Euro Top Concept from Bornem has been distributing machines from the German brand KLAAS in Belgium. This successful collaboration has already undergone a spectacular evolution. While everything started primarily with (revolutionary) lifts in 2001, the company now has high-performance cranes in its range in 2021. And this only benefits roofers, as it is no secret that the right equipment results in profit in every respect. Euro Top Concept is therefore proud to offer machines that are at the forefront of innovation. It is not without reason that it adopts the motto ‘always higher, always stronger, always further.’
Successful partnerships
Euro Top Concept’s success is demonstrated by numerous partnerships throughout Belgium, with both customers and employers’ organizations. AMAK CRANES
While KLAAS is the Premium brand of the German KLAAS factory, KLAAS has launched a second brand on the market, namely AMAK. AMAK also produces aluminum cranes, both on trailers and on trucks. The reason why this second brand was put on the market is for commercial reasons from the KLAAS factory, which wishes to consolidate and further expand its market share as market leader.
There are a number of notable differences between the brands KLAAS and AMAK. For example, technological innovations are always launched on the premium KLAAS brand. Only a few years later, these were also rolled out on AMAK machines. This way, with KLAAS you always have the latest technology in your machine. On the other hand, KLAAS always opts for a separate crane engine for the truck cranes, while AMAK is always equipped with a PTO, which means that the crane runs on the engine of the truck. We would like to refer here to the detailed text about the difference between a separate engine and a PTO system, but in short we can say that a separate engine is the most appropriate option for driving a crane, not only in terms of consumption but also in the context of wear and tear of the truck engine.
