The K900 impresses with a hook height of over 38 m and immense power. With a maximum lifting capacity of 5,000 kg, it can reach working areas 6.50 m away and 8.20 m high. Equipped with a two-way hydraulic telescopic jib, the crane can be set up even in confined spaces—including in work platform mode.

This all-rounder comes standard with the Klaas comfort package. In addition to personal safety mode and individual slewing angle programming, this includes a memory function. This allows the K900 to recognize two reference points and automatically move between them in a safe working position.

Equipment

  • extremely strong and weather-resistant, lightweight special aluminum alloy
  • no loss of strength at the weld thanks to friction stir welding; the joints are as strong as the solid material
  • the characteristic Klaas hole pattern reduces the wind-exposed surface area and weight while ensuring high flexural rigidity
  • Fully hydraulic stabilization combined with ASC stabilization control allows for continuously variable stabilization widths, including in the lateral direction.
  • No predefined detent positions to restrict the operator.
  • L-shaped outriggers ensure maximum stability against tipping.
  • Stabilization without shoring is possible thanks to long vertical cylinders.
  • quick and easy installation of the crane via radio remote control
  • continuous lateral extension of each stabilizer
  • automatic leveling of the support cylinders for optimal mounting, even on uneven surfaces
  • permanent pressure monitoring
  • the hinge flange is machined from solid stock, enabling it to withstand higher loads
  • electronic monitoring within the hinge ensures optimal load absorption at any angular position
  • dual cylinders at the knee joint provide enhanced safety and protection against lateral forces
  • Dual-cylinder mast lifting system
  • Torsion-free boom lifting via two cylinders
  • Dual safety provided by two cylinders
  • Improved absorption of lateral forces, resulting in a stable and rigid boom position
  • Rapid telescoping under load thanks to the patented Klaas cable technology
  • Integrated electronic measurement records the current mast extension length and calculates the maximum possible load
  • The low weight of the cables increases reach and load capacity
  • Easily accessible, low-maintenance cable technology
  • Complex control system compliant with EN 280 and EN 13000
  • State-of-the-art safety PLC for crane operation
  • CAN-bus control unit for highly sensitive and precise operation
  • Soft start/stop for low-vibration operation
  • Expandable with an additional remote control
  • precise start thanks to proportional joysticks
  • Memory function learns two target points (e.g. material location on the ground and unloading location on the roof), where the crane moves safely in hold-to-run mode
  • A second display clearly shows all essential operating conditions of the crane, such as tilt and turn angle, maximum lifting force, hoisting rope speed.
  • Power supply via AA batteries or cable
  • dedicated, powerful diesel engine for crane operation
  • low fuel consumption – resulting in significant cost savings and reduced environmental impact
  • no strain on the truck engine during crane operation
  • electronic fuel level monitoring for the crane, with display via remote control
  • Equipment with an electric motor (400 V) and a separate diesel engine
  • Electric motor for quiet, economical operation with no exhaust emissions
  • Use of the separate diesel engine on construction sites without access to electricity
  • high-quality, German-made slewing ring
  • sophisticated rotation guide enables endless rotation of the turret in both directions
  • spacious, lockable storage compartments
  • secure storage for tools and accessories
  • large storage area on the crane
  • sleek, high-quality overall appearance thanks to ribbed aluminium plating
  • Hydraulic telescoping of the first and second folding jib sections via radio remote control
  • Simultaneous use of both extensions ensures optimal load distribution
  • Use of the folding jib tip even in confined spaces thanks to a “lift-out” function
  • Hydraulic telescoping possible even under load
  • Personal safety in accordance with BG guidelines
  • for work at heights where stationary safety measures—such as scaffolding or safety rings—are not feasible
  • Personal safety provided by the crane arm enables unrestricted work in exposed locations
  • protected routing of all mobile electrical and hydraulic lines within the mast
  • no hose reels or cables on the mast
  • use of low-maintenance galvanized steel hydraulic lines in the substructure, preventing costly hydraulic line replacement
