The Klaas K760 was developed as the successor to the popular K750 and is the new number one Klaas truck-mounted crane in the 8-tonne segment.

It is equipped with a double hydraulically telescoping boom, with the first two sections extending from 5.00 to 11.65 m via radio remote control. This makes crane setup even more convenient and significantly expands its range of applications.

The K760 can optionally be equipped with a high-quality, lightweight synthetic lifting rope. This further improves both its performance figures and lifting characteristics. With a 250 kg load, the K760 achieves a reach of 32 m, while loads of up to 500 kg can be handled at a reach of 23 m.

The crane is also available as the K760 E, powered by a battery-driven electric motor. A large lithium battery combined with optimised energy management allows the crane to operate independently for a full working day. Even in aerial work platform mode, it can operate for extended periods without recharging. The K760 E can be charged via a standard 230 V power socket.

Equipment

  • Extremely strong and weather-resistant special aluminum alloy with low self-weight
  • No loss of strength at the weld thanks to friction stir welding; the joints are as strong as the solid material
  • The characteristic Klaas hole pattern reduces the wind-exposed surface area, keeps self-weight low, and ensures high flexural rigidity
  • Fully hydraulic formwork combined with ASC formwork control enables continuously adjustable formwork widths, including in the direction of the overhang
  • No pre-set notches that restrict the operator
  • L-shaped support legs ensure maximum stability against tipping
  • Formwork can be moved without the formwork itself (retracted) thanks to long vertical cylinders
  • Quick and easy crane setup via radio remote control
  • Continuous lateral extension of each outrigger
  • Automatic leveling of outrigger cylinders for optimal positioning, even on uneven surfaces
  • Continuous pressure monitoring that responds to changing external conditions
  • Hydraulic telescoping of the first and second articulation elements via radio remote control
  • Simultaneous deployment of both extensions ensures optimal load distribution
  • Use of the articulation point even in confined installation spaces thanks to a “lift-out” feature
  • Hydraulic telescoping capability even in the intermediate position
  • The hinge plate is machined from solid stock, thereby enabling a higher load-bearing capacity.
  • Electronic control within the hinge ensures optimal load handling at any angular position.
  • A dual-pivot cylinder provides enhanced safety and protection against lateral forces.
  • Torsion-free boom lifting thanks to two tilt cylinders
  • Dual safety thanks to two cylinders
  • Improved absorption of lateral guiding forces, resulting in a stable and quiet boom position
  • Rapid telescoping under load thanks to patented Klaas cable technology
  • Integrated electronic length measurement records the mast’s current extension length and calculates the maximum possible load
  • Low cable dead weight increases reach and load capacity
  • Easily accessible, low-maintenance cable system
  • protected guidance of all mobile electrical and hydraulic lines in or on the mast
  • no hose or cable reels on the mast
  • use of low-maintenance galvanized steel hydraulic pipes in the substructure, which prevents costly replacement of hydraulic hoses
  • Complex control system compliant with EN 280 and EN 13000
  • State-of-the-art safety PLC for crane operation
  • CAN-bus control unit for highly responsive and precise operation
  • Soft start/stop for low-vibration operation
  • Expandable with an additional remote control
  • large display for a clear view of all key crane operating states
  • precise start-up thanks to sensitive joysticks
  • powered by standard batteries or cable
  • can be equipped with a memory function
  • this learns two reference points (e.g., material location on the ground and unloading point on the roof), between which the crane moves safely in hold-to-run mode
  • separate, powerful diesel engine for crane operation
  • low fuel consumption – resulting in massive cost savings and reduced environmental pollution
  • no load on the truck engine during crane operation
  • electronic fuel level monitoring on the crane with remote control display
  • spacious and lockable storage compartments
  • safe storage of tools and accessories
  • large storage space on the crane
  • sleek and high-quality overall appearance thanks to ribbed aluminum plating
  • high-quality, German-made slewing ring
  • well-engineered slewing bearing enables endless rotation of the turret in both directions
  • Personal safety in accordance with BG guidelines
  • for work at heights where stationary safety measures—such as scaffolding or safety rings—are not feasible
  • Personal safety provided by the crane arm enables unrestricted work in exposed areas
