With a hook height of nearly 53 meters and a maximum lifting capacity of 6 tonnes, the K1003 is one of the large Klaas truck-mounted cranes. It is mounted on a three-axle truck featuring a steered rear axle. This setup ideally combines maneuverability and comfortable driving characteristics with the aluminum boom’s immense reach. The K1003 operates using a dual hydraulic telescopic boom system, where both extensions extend evenly and simultaneously. This ensures optimal load distribution and allows the folding boom to be used effectively even in confined setup locations.
